A total of Forty selected Western Regional- based companies and cooperative individuals which are engaged in transacting businesses within the country and other African nations will be honoured at the 3rd edition of the Western Regional Business Award (ARBA).
The award ceremony has been scheduled to take place at Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi on Thursday 4th August 2022.
The Western Regional Business Awards is a prestigious awards program that recognizes and rewards excellence across all sectors in Western Region such as business, entertainment, media, Sports among others.
The awards scheme provide a platform to recognize individuals and companies that play a significant role in the growth and development of their business sector while recognizing the key functions within the sector that promote growth and sustainability.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, Jedidah Aryeepah the award scheme is the premier event in Ghana which seeks to celebrate achievement, innovation, and brilliance within the environment of the Western Region of Ghana.
Over the years WRBA awards have served as a benchmark of excellence for company performance despite the recurring challenges. Key among the standards are innovation, customer service, corporate social responsibility, and competitive pricing.
Explaining the criteria used in selecting winners for this year’s awards Mr. Aryeepah said companies, who are weighted above the scores or survey done by our validating partner, are entered into the final list to be rewarded for their performance over the year under review.
‘The Awards have a range of categories suited for any successful organisation to tell their story; from large private and public companies through to thriving entrepreneurial businesses, promising start-ups, and established SMEs’ he said.
This year’s awards categories include Travels Entrepreneur of the Year, Construction Company Of The Year, Private Hospital Of The Year, Eye Care Specialist Company Of The Year, Engineering Company Of The Year, Excellence In Smell Business Of The Year, Excellence In Fashion & Lifestyle Of The Year, Excellence In Fashion & Lifestyle Of The Year.
Excellence In Pharmaceuticals Company Of The Year, Excellence In Events And Experiential Marketing, Excellence In Agriculture And Agribusiness Sector Of The Year, Excellence In Air Travel Of The Year, Excellence In Travel & Tourism Of The Year (By Land), Excellence In Beauty & Cosmetics Of The Year, Export Company Of The Year.
The awards event is expected to attract some personalities including ministers of state, radio, and television industry stakeholders as well as winners from previous editions.
