Fresh from stating that he’s more popular than Sarkodie, Shatta Wale put together, the artiste has granted a new interview and said Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy should resort to High-life to reach out to the youth since the genre they currently specialize is hollow.
According to him, it’s sad that the current crop of artistes have neglected their root and gone in for alien songs which has nothing productive for the youth.
“Are we proud as Ghanaians to be copying a genre like Dancehall music which has no message? We have so many issues in the country we can address with our music but a genre like Dancehall will never tackle such issues.”
Okomfour Kwadee reiterated that the foreign influence in our music is becoming too much and it is high time Ghanaian musicians considered going back to their roots.
