Up and coming artistes who wish to seek expert advice of hiplife artiste Tic Tac (now Tic) on music matters, should be ready to pay.
According to Tic, he has stopped offering music advice to young musicians for free.
He said in an interview with Starr FM that young musicians value advice when they pay for it.
“Underground artistes do not like me because I ask them to pay for consulting. It’s nice to guide underground artistes but it’s right to make it a business so they can take my guidance serious. I’m a businessman so if you need my advice you pay for it,” he stated.
Tic, who recently changed his name from Tic Tac also said his new name has been well received by the public.
“The response has been fantastic, girls call me bra tic already and guys call me Tic and so it’s about living the name. It’s not really a rebranding because already many people call me Tic so I’m just living it,” he noted.
Few days ago, he told citinewsroom.com that his new name Tic is for the future.
“I am just re-branding after some years of using Tic Tac. Tic is for the future. I always say I feel like a new artiste because my desire for doing music feels the same as I started at age 10,” he said.
Tic has released a new song titled ‘Pene Mame’ with Kidi and according to him he decided to feature Kidi on the song because he is one of the hottest music sensations in Ghana at the moment.
