The much Awaited Jungle Party (JP) of @Asabaako happened in a Jungle on the arms of the main road leading from Agona to Busua on 10th March,2019. As expected, music and party lovers were met with a beautiful camp-like setup in the jungle.
Artist and DJs present to perform were :
DJs: VIMTINZ, BBRAVE,SENSEI LO, CHABELA, ASH DAX.
ARTISTS: INGA PAULA, SEKUNDE ABRENTIE(DRUPZ), ABENA ROCKSTAR, AJ NELSON, AZIZZA, THE WOLFPACK .
The party started 7.00pm(GMT) with Kojo Blak as M.C., Songs came from various listed DJs.
VimTinz and BBrave were the standing DJs. Together, they gave the revelers good music both international and local.
BBrave of AkwaabaMuzic did magic on the turn table, his tunes got the audience into a frenzy.
Sensei Lo, the nigerian DJ also performed marvelously. Her afro mixes gingered the audience. It was a sight to behold.
Sekunde Abrentie (Drupz), from Sekondi-Takoradi started the artist performances with his fante laden lyrics.
The “Pussy Tire” lady, Abena Rockstar aslo did not disappoint.
Inga Paula was in her element. She took to the stage after Sekunde Abrentie (Drupz) and Abena Rockstar. The Ivorian’s smooth low tempo tunes sent the audience into a serene jungle atmosphere after Abena Rockstar has done her high tempo rap.
AJ Nelson, the only rapper in Ghana now who fuses the Bono language with Ashanti Twi did his usual tunes of empowerment. His afrocentric music spoke of Asabaako’s trade-name.
Other Artist who performed amazingly at Asabaako Jungle party were The wolfgang and Azziza.
The Asabaako Afrocentric music festival lived up to it billing and was broad-casted live on DStv Ghana.
